Not only are my girlys extremely PICKY (ha, that is an understatment) but their school has rules. No uniforms (which I would sooooo prefer!!!) but strict rules: no sandals, no bare shoulders, no tees with writing and no jeans - doesn't sound too bad, right? WRONG! Try to find a funky and fun outfit, not made of denim, that my girls will wear! HAHAHAHA! Yea, this job is only for the strong!
My WildChild will not wear jeans, no denim what-so-ever! Which is okay, but the school does allow jeans once a month, and we have to wear them for horseback riding lessons, ya think she would try a pair on, one pair???? NOPE! WC will not wear any pants that has zippers and/or buttons, this means she wears skirts and dresses often. Like every day!
My Showstopper will not wear skirts unless they are skorts - she is part tom-boy and will not wear anything to school that may accidently show her underwear - which is a blessing of sorts when trying to get the WC to wear underwear is worse than pulling teeth.
We were shopping at a designer outlet when they BOTH spotted the rack with the training bras...they begged and pleaded and proceeded to try them on. They like to use the middle of the racks as their personal dressing rooms, they scream when other shoppers get too close - did I mention that shopping has become stressful for poor mom? I digress, well, they decided that the 'boobie-bra' is what they want most of all.
How can I say no to my beautiful, wonderful, blooming girlys when they beg me to buy 'boobie-bra's'?
All weekend they wore their boobie-bras, my showstopper even SLEPT in hers.
My WC's b-day is coming up (entirely too fast) and she finally decided on what kind-of party she wants ... she wants a SPA-Party. Complete with make-overs and manicures ... UGH!
So now I'm restling with - do I have a spa party at my house or do I go somewhere? There are so many great ideas out there and so many very fun options...maybe I'll ask her what she would prefer. The salon I found that caters to these kinds of parties is going to send me a quote - they have a karoke and lost of mirrors and dress up clothes which the girlys would love ... but I know our neighbor girl would love to be the manicurist (she is a honest to goodness real pre-teen, and super girly).
Where did my babies go? I want my babies back! These aren't my babies - they are pre-pre-teens and they are waayyyyyyyyyy to young for this stuff. I'm just not ready for pre-teen wannabees!
