Van Morrison - Sweet Thing - Jono McCleery Cover

It's not often that a song is as familar to me as an old friend, but Van Morrison had a knack for creating such songs. His melody is haunting, his lyrics paint pictures in my mind and they take me to the sea where I feel so alive and well.

If I heard this song before it was not the right time for it; now is the right time and it will be playing on my iTunes and my cd player for the next several weeks.

And I shall watch the ferry-boats

And theyll get high

On a bluer ocean

Against tomorrows sky

And I will never grow so old again
