It only took us 3 days but I think we have it down to a manageable level that is UNTIL Santa comes.
Last year MrT told the girlys that the toys they no longer want will be given to Santa so he can find a good home for them - I forgot this. So this year, I said something about 'GoodWill' and immediately the girlys spoke up and pleaded with me to give the toys to Santa.
This year we filled an extra large garbage bag full of stuff.
I'm really proud of them.
I haven't taken many photos lately.

How cute! You can definitely tell they are sisters. I try thinning out Emma's toys, and the thing that always works for her is telling her that we are going to give them to kids that don't have any.
ReplyDeleteThat's wonderful that you get rid of things before Santa comes. I am planning on doing a big purge pre-Holidays. Fortunately Alex can't have a say yet, but I hope when he is older he will appreciate giving away old toys for new :)
