The meme is fairly simple:
1. Go to the fourth picture folder on your computer.
2. Post the fourth picture in that folder.
3. Explain the picture.
4. Tag four more people.
These two gorgeous girlys are in my sunday school class. The week before Christmas we had a birthday party for Jesus. We played games, made candy, collected gifts for the homeless, and made ornaments. I printed pictures for all the kids, 'til I ran out of ink and had to run home, find the ink cartridges, get back to church, install ink (which is painful-requires reboots) then print those that didn't get printed. UGH! The tornado struck again: Note to self, before dragging the laptop, camera, printer and all necessary cables "REMEMBER TO CHECK INK LEVELS IN PRINTER"!

Two people you last talked to on the phone
1. my dad, he really wanted to talk to my girlys last night but they were very busy.
2. my husband, he hardly ever calls during the day, but today he called because his office was in an Obama frenzy. He often complains that our society seems to put so much effort on worshipping and/or critisizing each other and little to no effort on affecting change in our homes, schools/churches/place of worship or our community.
Now hold up before the critisism starts pouring in ... Obama is just a man. No man is worthly of worship. You can respect a man, you can support a man, you can defend a man, but you should never worship a man. If you think the world is so horrible that change is so very necessary then start doing something about it. Contribute. Get Involved. Obama is not a superhero, he is made of blood and bones just like you. There is only so much a man can do. We are all responsible for the things you like and dislike about the government. Be educated. Think logically. Don't believe everything you hear. Don't believe everything you read. Question motives. Question agendas. Politics are involved in everything. Politicians are everywhere. Everything is political, the food on your plate, the car that you drive, the shirt on your back, in everything there is politics. Understand how decisions are made and who is making them, and if you do not agree, find out how to change them. You can make a difference. Only you (I mean that as a collective YOU) can change the world.
I have read many posts lately about personal responsibility, and it's a lesson that is not being taught in our schools. Do not depend on someone else to save you. Do not depend on the government to bail you out. If you are unable to do something, then listen, learn, teach and motivate others, but for the majority of us there is always something you can do, someway you can help. VOLUNTEER and help those that can't help themselves, the weak, the poor, the homeless, the starving, the innocent - they need your help and they will take anything you can give.
