The post without a title...

Let me tell you about the place I stop by each and every day (Monday thru Friday that is) to pick up my coffee. It's this cute and tiny little Deli of a Stop and Shop. The same ladies are there every morning and yes I know all of their names. They say things like, "Good morning, honey", "Whatcha gettin' sweetheart?", "Need anything else, hon?". And they say these things not just to me but the slew of other regulars that come in the place. I typically see the same 15 people in my 10 minutes in the place.

The cute little Deli is close to my girlys school.

I have to drive my girlys to school every single day. We were suspended from the bus for a time and the girlys have decided they would rather have mommy drive them in each and every day than risk getting into trouble on the bus. We received 10 demerits because of that bus. We had to serve a day of in school suspension because of that bus. I just want my WildChild to stay out of trouble till the end of the year and that 6Th grader that rides our bus irks my WildChild something awful. We will try the bus again next year, cross your fingers.

Anyway, this Deli has the HOTTEST coffee on the planet. I tease the ladies about the dragon that must live underneath the place because nothing shy of a creature from the depths of hell could manage to make coffee so very hot. I have to cool it off with ice and about a gallon of milk before I can drink it. I do not SIP coffee, I chug it.

I tip these ladies every single day. These ladies work very hard. I've noticed I've been tipping more than usual lately. It's not that I have more money than I used to have, actually I have much less. The cost of things has gone up and my annual raise is not covering the increase, so I know I have less spending money. I feel it, but I've been tipping more. I guess I realize that if I feel the affect then someone making a lot less than I would feel it even more. I'm not telling you this to make myself sound like a saint or anything, but try to remember this when you are out and about. An extra dollar may not mean all that much to you, but that waitress or hostess that is working for tips, it means an awful lot to them. There are probably less people eating out these days and spending less and probably tipping less. So don't.

My lecture for today is over. I didn't start this post imagining that I was going to lecture you ... I really didn't.

I wanted to talk about my lovelies. Aren't they lovely?

I'm NOT very happy about today's events.

Look at these pictures, the spring flower pictures, the daffodils...those pictures were taken only this weekend. Then SNOW today. YUCK!
