Entirely TOO DIZZY

You've read it here before, I do not like that dizzy head, spinning, twisty, yucky, cucky feeling. No. It's so much more than that, I've always hated it. I never liked feeling dizzy. Probably a long story there, and probably has something to do with me being a sick kid and all, but just so you know I really really really hate feeling dizzy.

I've wanted to write these past few days and I had some great things to tell but that mind wrecking dizziness overcame my brain and I was out of commission.

It started Friday. I felt awful. Dizziness makes my tummy queasy, and when my tummy is queasy well ... I get sick. I have a great fear of getting sick at work, and it makes me even more sick thinking about being sick at work.

UGH!

So I left.

I relaxed at home for a bit and began to feel better. I met up with my mom and dad at the girlys school for their soccer game.

The WildChild was in a mood. A big huge temper tantrum kind of mood.

I left the ShowStopper with my mom and dad, and took the WildChild home. She was not going to play soccer with that attitude. NOPE. We were close to home by the time she settled down so I decided to take her to our local football field to walk the track. I have done this with her in the past and it seems to help mellow her, it brings her back into reality.

I took some pictures:

So alone in the world.

Eh.

By the time we arrived home, the ShowStopper was home and all was right with the world. The neighborhood crowd was outside and life was good, the girlys terrorized the neighborhood while I rested some more. Then it hit me, like a brick freakin' wall. Chills. Fever. Sweat. I was freazing and sweating.

When Mr.T finally came home, I went to bed and slept the entire evening.

Saturday morning I awoke feeling much better, not normal but much better. Mr.T volunteered to do some safety thing for the lodge so we all headed out, there were going to be all kinds of things to do for the kids. We took a neighbor with us and all the kids were CHIP'd. It's a great project for the Mason's and if you haven't had it done yet you should find out when your local Masonic Lodge is doing an event and be there. It's free and it helps with peace of mind, a little bit, anyway. The local police force were there at the event and said that they would love to do CHIP but it's expensive, way out of their budget. They were offering just a finger print service but they told me not to bother, to do CHIP because it is by far superior, and the Masons do it for free. So parents, I urge you to take advantage if/when you can. The package includes a video so they get the child's mannerisms and voice and image all on video in case it is ever needed. We are taking our package with us to Disney, JUST IN CASE. (The thought of it freaks me out...no FREAKS ME OUT!).

Okay....

Then we came home and it was time for me to get ready for my evening plans.

I went out to a Facebook Event, a reunion of sorts with a group of fellow college grads. It was a blast, but I have so very much more to say on the topic so this post is to be continued ....

Sorry.

  1. Hope you are feeling better.........

Walking the track is a great idea to help Wildchild work off her "bad mood". My son used to come home from school and bounce off the walls. I would take him out and we would run around the block a few times. It always seem to work.

Hope you had a good time at the Facebook reunion. You need some fun...........
