My sister had a Crissy doll and I had the Velvet doll! Yes, we did the same thing with the Sears catalog - it helps to have had an Aunt that worked there too and could give Santa a huge employee discount if she wanted to.

This year, I was also disgusted with the poor showing of toys from my kids. Unless it was from Justice or a Wii game or a DVD my kids were not interested.

Oh, I'm glad Oprah noticed it too. My family has been on the Feingold program for 6 years now. I still get friends and acquaintances that will say flat out "I don't belive it" when I mention the topic. This really ticks me off. It wasn't their children with asthma and weepng, infected ears.

Welcome back!

After hearing several close friends lose data due to hardware malfunctions or virus infected machines, I decided it was high time to back my stuff up.

Twice a month I burn CDs to back up my files (most of which are photos).
I also burned copies onto DVD (each holds 4GB - dual layered twice that).
And for triple redundancy I also backed up

Hey lady, I'm so sorry about your photos. I lost a portion of my photos for last summer and I'm very sad. As for storage, I hang on to all of the camera memory cards, and burn a backup CD of my harddrive every few months (to save both photos and my gigantic family tree data file). Those are both in our fire safe. Beyond that, they are also uploaded to Facebook but it destroys the quality

Yeah. I have the same kind of singing voice you described. I used to sing to my older son until he was two. He covered his ears and screamed: "DON'T SING". It was humiliating.
